Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 7/30

Summary

Working gas in storage was 2,880 Bcf as of Friday, July 24, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 52 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 586 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 85 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,795 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 60 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 42 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 121 Bcf above the 5-year average of 977 Bcf after a net injection of 4 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 24 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 6 Bcf. At 2,880 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
