Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 7/23

Summary

Working gas in storage was 2,828 Bcf as of Friday, July 17, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 61 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 622 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 81 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,747 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 63 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 41 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 120 Bcf above the 5-year average of 974 Bcf after a net injection of 12 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 24 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 8 Bcf. At 2,828 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
