Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 9/17

Summary

Working gas in storage was 3,334 Bcf as of Friday, September 11, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 73 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 456 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 125 Bcf above the 5-year average of 3,209 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 38 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 50 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 149 Bcf above the 5-year average of 1,016 Bcf after a net injection of 21 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 13 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 2 Bcf. At 3,334 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
