Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 7/9

Summary

Working gas in storage was 2,668 Bcf as of Friday, July 3, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 91 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 659 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 45 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,623 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 77 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 69 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 98 Bcf above the 5-year average of 952 Bcf after a net injection of 23 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 24 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 1 Bcf. At 2,668 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
