Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 6/18

Summary

Working gas in storage was 2,433 Bcf as of Friday, June 12, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 89 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 730 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 46 Bcf above the 5-year average of 2,387 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 102 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 59 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 96 Bcf above the 5-year average of 907 Bcf after a net injection of 22 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 52 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 8 Bcf. At 2,433 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
