Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 4/2

Summary

Working gas in storage was 1,461 Bcf as of Friday, March 27, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net decline of 18 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 628 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 190 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,651 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 173 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 37 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 95 Bcf below the 5-year average of 686 Bcf after a net injection of 15 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 79 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 4 Bcf. At 1,461 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
