Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 4/16

Summary

Working gas in storage was 1,539 Bcf as of Friday, April 10, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 63 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 692 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 145 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,684 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 181 Bcf below the 5-year average following net injections of 15 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 42 Bcf below the 5-year average of 709 Bcf after a net injection of 50 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 78 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net drawdown of 2 Bcf. At 1,539 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
