EIA Weekly Natural Gas Storage Report 3/26/2015
Summary
Working gas in storage was 1,479 Bcf as of Friday, March 20, 2015, according to EIA estimates. This represents a net increase of 12 Bcf from the previous week. Stocks were 575 Bcf higher than last year at this time and 194 Bcf below the 5-year average of 1,673 Bcf. In the East Region, stocks were 158 Bcf below the 5-year average following net withdrawals of 22 Bcf. Stocks in the Producing Region were 109 Bcf below the 5-year average of 685 Bcf after a net injection of 28 Bcf. Stocks in the West Region were 74 Bcf above the 5-year average after a net addition of 6 Bcf. At 1,479 Bcf, total working gas is within the 5-year historical range.
